Project
DigIT Hub Sweden 2.0
Digitalising the manufacturing industry and public sector in southern Sweden.
About the project
Digitalisation is changing the way we interact with customers, partners, citizens and also internally within our organisations. For businesses in the packaging industry, the digital shift means staying competitive and relevant in an interconnected world. For the public sector, it’s a matter of meeting changing expectations, and using technology to create a positive impact on society.
Through DigIT Hub Sweden, Packbridge is able to help and support their members in southern Sweden to increase their rate and degree of digitalisation through initiatives in four key areas:
Education
DigIT Hub Sweden collaborates with digitalisation experts, educational providers, training centers, and research institutions to help build digital skills – for those currently employed, as well as future generations.
Testing
DigIT Hub Sweden collaborates with partners that offer technology demonstrations and testing environments for hands-on trials of new tools or equipment that support or enable digitalisation.
Networking
DigIT Hub Sweden collaborates with a network of organisations to pool together tools and services in digitalisation, and helps users identify and select the appropriate technologies and/or digital processes to meet their needs.
Investing
DigIT Hub Sweden collaborates with funding entities to help organisations finance their digital transition. This also includes funding of expert support through the DigIT Hub Missions Programme.
What is more?
DigIT Hub Sweden is a high-profile open innovation project and has been selected by the European Commission as an official ‘European Digital Innovation Hub’. Amongst other things, this means that project participants are able to easily connect to other hubs and partners across Europe to address shared digitalisation challenges.
As a result, above the four key areas, Packbridge will also be able to offer valuable connections and insights outside of Sweden, from other countries in the EU, to our members by being one of the engaged partners in DigIt Hub.
